The Aston Martin DB11 was introduced as an all-new model in the lineup, as it replaces the DB9 in the lineup. Under the hood, it gets the twin turbocharged 5.2-litre V12 engine, mated to a 8-speed automatic ZF transmission. The DB11 combined with technical partner, Daimler AG, to develop the technology in the car. Using a full-colour 12-inch TFT LCD display, the all-new instrument cluster presents primary vehicle information, while a second, centrally-mounted 8-inch TFT screen is dedicated to infotainment, which can be controlled via a rotary control, or with an optional touchpad offering character recognition, multi-touch and gesture support. A newly implemented auto-park assist feature and 360-degree birds-eye view camera helps provide safe maneuvering at slow speeds and is also operated via the car's infotainment system. Besides that standard features on the DB11 include strathmore leather monotone interior, alcantara headlining, black leather trim inlay, leather steering wheel, memory front seats and exterior mirrors, heated front seats, powerfold exterior heated mirror, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control & speed limiter, tyre pressure monitoring, remote-control central door locking and boot release, automatic temperature control with dual zone climate control, keyless entry & go, 400-Watt Aston Martin audio system, iPod and iPhone Integration and USB playback, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Safety features include electrically adjustable front seats with side airbags, dual stage driver and passenger front airbags, curtain side and knee head airbags, pelvis and thorax seat mounted airbags, traction control, stability control, ABS and brake assist. Optional features are plenty with different upholstery options, additional badges, different types of rims, exterior upgrades and better audio systems.
