The S80 is the flagship of Volvo range, and though it looks big in size, it is actually more of a large midsize sedan than a true fullsize sedan. In 2014, it got minor exterior and interior changes, as well as new added safety features. The only model available in most GCC markets now is a front-wheel-drive S80 T5 model with a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and 6-speed automatic with manual-shift capability. Features include the wafer-thin centre console that houses the digital climate controls and the Dolby Pro-Logic II surround sound system. The car is filled to the brim with the usual luxury features such as power windows, mirrors and seats, leather trim, 16-inch and 17-inch alloy rims, adaptive cruise control, Bluetooth, sunroof and more. Safety features include ABS brakes, stability control, dual front airbags, side impact airbags for SIPS, inflatable curtain airbags and WHIPS whiplash protection, as well as Pedestrian Detection, Collision Warning with Full Auto Brake, Driver Alert Control, Lane Departure Warning and Active Bending Lights.
