The Range Rover Evoque had a mild facelift for its 2014 model year, with the main difference being the addition of a new automatic transmission. The Evoque is powered by a Ford-derived 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder mated to a 9-speed automatic with tiptronic functionality via paddle-shifters. Although some markets get front-wheel-drive, the GCC only gets the full-time four-wheel-drive version with a Haldex rear-axle differential. There are various trim levels, most of them featuring 20-inch wheels, terrain-response system with optional adaptive suspension, hill-start assist, hill-descent control, cruise control, and more. Later, a "Pure" base model was introduced, spotted by its 18-inch alloys, simpler seats and basic exhaust tips. Depending on trim level, there is also keyless entry and start, leather upholstery, aluminium trim, standard 380W 11-speaker sound system or optional 825W 17-speaker system, Bluetooth, USB port, optional panoramic fixed-glass roof, optional navigation with hard drive, HID headlights, power tailgate and more. Standard safety features include front, side and curtain airbags, as well as stability control, ABS and traction control.
