Model Overview
The Nissan Altima received a minor facelift for the 2010 model year, including a restyled front end, new wheel designs, and new interior options. The Altima will be available with a choice of a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder or a 3.5-litre V6. All versions get the CVT automatic as standard. However, many dealers started offering only the 2.5-litre automatic models from 2011. All GCC-spec Altima models come with a beige interior, in cloth or optional leather. The entertainment system has been upgraded with a optional new Bose premium stereo with nine speakers, optional 4.3-inch colour display, USB port with iPod connectivity, Bluetooth hands-free Phone System, MP3/WMA CD playback, and rear monitor. Also offered is an optional hard-drive navigation system with 6.5-inch VGA colour display, 9.3GB Music Box for music storage and playback, Bluetooth Streaming Audio, DVD player and an RCA input for auxiliary audio/video connectivity. The base 2.5 model gets 16-inch steel wheels with hubcaps, cloth upholstery, intelligent keyless entry with starter button and manually-adjusted seats. The higher 2.5 models gets 16-inch alloy wheels, Bose stereo, fog lamps, rear camera and cloth upholstery with options such as sunroof and spoiler. And the 3.5 gets 17-inch alloys, power driver's seat, spoiler and optional leather. All Altima models now come with stability control, front and side airbags, and ABS, with options such as side-curtain airbags and a tyre-pressure monitor.
