Model Overview
The Accord is of one the best midsize sedans available. The Accord was enlarged and redesigned for the 2008 model year, and mildly facelifted for 2011. The Accord sedan was imported from Japan for 2011, and the United States for 2012. Both versions will be offered with either a 2.4-litre 4-cylinder or a 3.5-litre V6. All models get a 5-speed automatic only. Standard features on the base model includes power door mirrors with LED indicators, power windows, manual a/c, cruise control, CD/MP3 player with USB and AUX ports, and keyless entry. Features available in higher models include auto-dimming rear-view mirror, sunroof, CD changer, leather, power driver's seat, fake wood trim and fog lamps. For 2011, new options include a navigation system with 8-inch screen, a dual-zone automatic a/c that uses GPS to adjust temperature according to the position of vehicle relative to the sun, a Bluetooth phone and a rear-view camera. Available wheel sizes are 16-inch steel wheels as well as 16-inch or 17-inch alloys in the sedan, depending on trim. For 2011, all models got ABS, stability control, active headrests and dual front airbags, with optional side and curtain airbags in the higher models. For 2012, all six airbags became standard on all models.
