Description
We are offering this 2022 Nissan Patrol Super Safari GCC with only 7,000 km. Presented in a distinctive gold-and-grey two-tone exterior with a tan leather seven-seat cabin, this is the long-wheelbase Y61 that has earned an exceptional reputation across the Gulf for durability, desert ability and straightforward mechanical character. The vehicle is presented as original paint, accident-free and free from flood damage, with warranty coverage stated to continue through 2027.
A remarkably low-mileage GCC Super Safari combining the legendary TB48DE 4.8-litre inline-six, proven four-wheel drive, seven-seat practicality and one of the most recognisable specifications in the UAE.
✨ Why this Super Safari is special
- The Patrol Super Safari is one of the most culturally significant and recognisable off-road vehicles in the Gulf, with a loyal following built over decades.
- This 2022 example shows only 7,000 km, making condition, preservation and documented history central to its appeal.
- Its factory-inspired gold-and-grey two-tone presentation suits the Y61 shape and distinguishes it from ordinary single-colour Patrols.
- The tan leather interior creates a warm, traditional Super Safari atmosphere and offers seating for seven passengers.
- GCC specification gives the vehicle the regional identity expected by many UAE buyers, while the exact original dealer and market code should be verified from the VIN.
- We welcome a complete inspection so a serious buyer can confirm the low mileage, body condition, mechanical health and paperwork.
⚙️ TB48DE 4.8-litre inline-six
- The Super Safari uses Nissan's celebrated TB48DE 4.8-litre naturally aspirated inline-six petrol engine.
- Official regional output is 280 horsepower at 4,800 rpm, with approximately 451 Nm of torque for confident road and desert progress.
- Variable valve timing and electronic fuel injection support smooth response across the rev range without the complexity of turbocharging.
- The engine is widely respected in the region for robust construction, service familiarity and substantial tuning potential, although this car should be assessed in its actual current configuration.
- Inspect oil and coolant levels, hoses, belts, mounts, intake components and all areas around the engine for leakage, alteration or signs of heat stress.
- A cold start, fully warmed road test and Nissan-capable diagnostic scan should confirm stable idle, clean response, normal temperatures and warning-free operation.
🕹️ Five-speed automatic and four-wheel drive
- The pictured cabin indicates the five-speed automatic version, matching the Super Safari 5D AT catalog configuration.
- The gearbox should engage Drive and Reverse promptly and shift smoothly under light, moderate and firm throttle.
- A selectable four-wheel-drive system provides everyday rear-drive operation together with high- and low-range four-wheel drive for appropriate terrain.
- The rear differential lock adds traction in difficult low-speed conditions and should be tested only on a suitable loose surface.
- Check transfer-case selection, indicator lamps, propeller shafts, universal joints, axle seals and differential oils as part of a specialist inspection.
- Correct tyre pressures and controlled throttle inputs are essential when using a heavy, powerful vehicle on sand or uneven ground.
🏜️ A Gulf desert icon
- The Y61's solid-axle construction, generous suspension travel and simple proportions have made it a trusted platform for desert and remote-area travel.
- Its long wheelbase offers stability and useful cabin space while preserving strong approach to challenging terrain when driven with appropriate technique.
- The raised snorkel and off-road exterior equipment visible in the photographs should be inspected for installation quality, sealing and road legality.
- Review the front bumper, recovery points, underbody protection and any suspension or wheel changes for engineering quality and documentation.
- Off-road capability does not remove the need for training, route planning, recovery equipment, communication and conservative decisions.
- After desert use, clean sand from radiators, brakes, filters, chassis cavities and moving components to protect long-term reliability.
🛞 Wheels, tyres, steering and brakes
- The black off-road wheels and all-terrain tyres give the Super Safari a purposeful stance, but their exact size, load rating and approval should be confirmed.
- Record tyre brand, dimensions, production dates, tread depth, pressure and sidewall condition on all five wheels, including the rear-mounted spare.
- Oversized tyres can change steering weight, braking, gearing, fuel use and speedometer accuracy, so the complete setup should be professionally assessed.
- During the road test, the Patrol should track straight, steer consistently and remain free from shimmy or abnormal vibration.
- Inspect ventilated brake discs, pads, hoses and fluid, then confirm strong, progressive braking without pulling.
- Wheel balancing, alignment, suspension bush condition and correct tyre pressure have a major influence on the Y61's road manners.
🤎 Seven-seat tan leather cabin
- The tan leather cabin is a defining Super Safari feature and creates a distinctive contrast with the rugged exterior.
- Seven-seat capacity gives the vehicle genuine family and group-travel usefulness while the second and third rows should be tested for access and folding operation.
- Inspect driver-seat bolsters, passenger seats, door trims, carpets, headlining and luggage surfaces for wear consistent with 7,000 km.
- Test power-seat adjustment, climate control, navigation, Bluetooth, audio, cameras, sensors, steering controls and every charging connection.
- Confirm that the rear air-conditioning cools effectively from a hot start, an essential requirement for family use in the UAE.
- Check all seat belts, head restraints, child-seat provisions, door locks, window mechanisms and supplied keys before purchase.
🎨 Original-paint and condition verification
- The vehicle is presented as original paint, accident-free and free from flood damage, and we welcome independent verification of all three claims.
- Use a calibrated paint-depth meter across every panel and inspect edges, fasteners, seals, lamp dates and glass markings for consistency.
- Examine chassis rails, body mounts, floors, wiring connectors, seat rails and hidden cavities for corrosion, silt, unusual odour or water marks.
- Check the two-tone finish in direct daylight, including roof, bumpers, arches, spare-wheel cover and areas around accessories.
- Match the VIN across the chassis, windscreen, registration documents, service records and diagnostic scan.
- A written body and mechanical inspection report provides the clearest basis for a confident transaction and future resale file.
📚 Low mileage, service and warranty
- The stated 7,000 km is exceptionally low for a 2022 off-road vehicle and should be confirmed against service invoices, inspection records and diagnostic information.
- Low mileage does not remove time-based maintenance needs, including engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, batteries, tyres, seals and air-conditioning care.
- Review every service entry by date and mileage and confirm that maintenance continued even during periods of limited use.
- The stated warranty through 2027 should be verified directly with the responsible dealer for coverage, transferability, exclusions and service conditions.
- Ask for both keys, manuals, original purchase documents, registration history, warranty paperwork and invoices for accessories or protection work.
- A coherent record supporting mileage, condition and warranty will materially strengthen long-term confidence and value.
☀️ Dubai ownership planning
- Test the air-conditioning at idle and on the road after the vehicle has been parked in the sun, including front and rear zones.
- The TB48DE's fuel use is part of the ownership equation; established UAE catalogs cite approximately 5.8–6.0 km/L depending on conditions.
- Budget for high-quality fluids, filters, tyres, wheel alignment and preventive cooling-system care rather than treating the low odometer as maintenance-free.
- Confirm parking dimensions and rear-door clearance because the long-wheelbase Y61 and rear-mounted spare require meaningful space.
- If the vehicle will sit for long periods, use an appropriate battery-maintenance routine, monitor tyre pressures and exercise it regularly.
- For long-distance or desert use, carry water, communication equipment, recovery gear and an inspection kit appropriate to the route.
💰 Price on request
- Price on request — offers are welcome.
- The value should be assessed against genuine 2022 identity, GCC specification, 7,000 km, body history, service evidence, warranty status and installed equipment.
- Compare long-wheelbase Super Safari automatic examples with the same year and condition rather than ordinary Patrol Safari grades.
- A serious offer is best discussed after the buyer has viewed the vehicle, reviewed the documents and completed the desired inspection.
- Please call or WhatsApp with your preferred viewing time and any specific questions about records, warranty or accessories.
- Confirm availability before travelling so the Patrol can be prepared for a complete and unhurried presentation.

Model Overview
When the new Nissan Patrol was launched in 2010, the carmaker elected to keep producing the older-generation Patrol Safari alongside the new one. It remains the same for the 2021 model year. The long-running Safari continues to be Nissan's best four-wheel-drive model. It gets the 4.8-litre inline 6-cylinder engine as standard, with the choice of a 5-speed automatic with tiptronic or a proper 5-speed manual. It is available as a 3-door and a 5-door model. Straight-line drive transfer allows on-the-fly shifting from 2WD to 4WD with one touch of a lever. The Patrol also has a decent interior featuring quality materials, wood trim, cloth upholstery, CD/MP3 stereo, manual a/c, fog lamps, 16-inch wheels and other equipment. In 2017, the Patrol Super Safari trim was introduced which comes with new tan leather seats and door trim with 8-way power seats for the driver and 4-way for the front passenger. New features include a navigation system as well as front and rear parking sensors with rear view camera, Bluetooth, USB, CD, AUX input and FM/AM radio. The vehicle comes equipped with automatic climate control and a built-in refrigerated cool box. The Super Safari can be distinguished from other Patrol models by its unique machine-cut 17-inch black alloy wheels, dual-tone body colour, a rear spoiler and a Super Safari body stripe. In 2021, additional dual-tone colour schemes were offered on the Super Safari. Along with two foldout cargo-area seats, the wagon model has room for seven. A sunroof and an electric front winch are optional. In late 2018, a trio of locally-modified versions were introduced -- the Falcon with chrome trim and leather; the Gazelle with a 2-inch lift kit, remote-reservoir shocks, fender flares and snorkel; and the Gazelle X with a 4-inch lift kit, off-road wheels, regeared diffs, metal bumpers, boot drawer set, louder exhaust and more. These versions will be built based on demand. Stability control and a tyre-pressure monitor are standard now, as per current regulations. Dual front airbags, ABS, an immobiliser and cruise control are also included, as are the classic rear locking differential, as well as front and rear-pintle tow hooks.
