Model Overview
The 2022 Land Cruiser LC300 is claimed to be an all-new model. The full-size SUV utilises the latest TNGA platform, although the wheelbase mysteriously remains the same. The new Land Cruiser sheds 200 kg from the previous model, which ran for 14 years with numerous facelifts. The interior has been completely revamped as well, although the design remains unremarkable. The screen can be as big as 12.3-inches in the higher trims, while a 9.0-inch screen is offered as standard. The 2023 Land Cruiser is packed with modern features like Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, heads-up display, 360-degree camera, powered tailgate, and even a fingerprint authentication system for some reason. The third row of seats can now be folded down into the floor. For the Middle East market, the 2023 Toyota Land Cruiser gets the 4.0-litre V6 carries on, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Gone is the V8, now replaced with a 3.5-litre V6 turbocharged motor, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. It goes without saying, four-wheel drive is offered as standard, complete with three differential locks. The approach and departure angles measure 32 degrees and 26.5 degrees, respectively. It gets a ground clearance of 230 mm. Toyota has also added an Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) to the LC300, along with an upgraded Electronically Controlled Kinetic Dynamic Suspension Stabilisation (E-KDSS) system. There is an advanced Multi-Terrain System as well, with additional Deep Snow and Auto modes. An underbody camera gets thrown into the mix, as a part of a Multi-Terrain Monitor system.
