An all-new model of the Toyota Corolla came out in mid 2019 as a 2020 model. Engine offerings include a 1.6-litre and a new 2.0-litre, both 4-cylinder "VVT-i" units. A new hybrid engine joins the lineup which is a 1.8-litre combined with electric motors. The five-seater is available in various trim levels. In Saudi Arabia, there is a 1.6 XLi model with 15-inch steel wheels with hubcaps, black front grille, power windows and mirrors, keyless entry and a 4-speaker CD/MP3/USB/AUX stereo. Moving up to the 1.6 GLi adds fog lamps, 16-inch alloys, rear AC vents, rear parking sensors, chrome grille, trunk liner, better upholstery with leather steering wheel, split-folding rear seats, 6-speaker touchscreen stereo with Bluetooth, smart keyless entry with starter button and several other smaller convenience features. The 2.0 GLi adds LED headlights with LED running lamps, sunroof, rear manual curtains, auto a/c and cruise control. In the UAE, there are 5 trim levels, starting with the 1.6 XLi model that includes a standard automatic gearbox, 15-inch steelies, 4-speaker CD/MP3/USB/AUX stereo, power mirrors and a black grille. power windows, keyless entry and central locking. The 1.6 GLi adds better upholstery with leather steering wheel, chrome grille, split-folding rear seats, LED running lamps, smart keyless entry and start, LCD info display, a better 6-speaker stereo and 16-inch alloy wheels. Moving on to the larger engine, the 2.0 XLi has all the features of the 1.6 XLi, but additionally gets 16-inch alloys and 6 speakers for the basic stereo. The 1.8 XLi HEV gets similar features to the 1.6 XLi, while the 1.8 GLi HEV gets a moonroof, 7-inch screen for the infotainment system, auto-leveling LED headlamps and 17-inch alloy wheels. Other markets may get slightly different trim levels. All models get standard dual front airbags, ABS with brake assist and EBD, stability control and an alarm immobiliser.
