The Mazda CX-5 received a facelift for the 2015 model year. Inside, the 5-seater cabin offers features such as a 4:2:4 three-way split-folding rear seat. As far as the upholstery goes, leather and two kinds of fabric are available for the seats and trim in two colours. The soft-touch material adopted for the majority of dash surfaces and door trim is offset by a central panel featuring glossy piano-black treatment. Engine specs include a direct-injection 2.0-litre "SKYACTIV-G" 4-cylinder that has a 13:1 compression for more torque, better fuel economy and lower emissions, although slightly detuned compared to the motors offered in Western countries. The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. There also a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine which offers more power. There is front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive available for the 2.0, but the 2.5 only comes with all-wheel-drive. Each engine variant has two trim levels. All models get a dual-zone auto a/c, keyless entry, fabric upholstery, 40:20:40 split-folding rear seat, USB port, Bluetooth, 17-inch alloys and a 6-speaker CD/MP3 stereo. The top 2.5-litre version additionally comes with smart keyless start, HID headlights, leather upholstery, sunroof, 9-speaker Bose stereo, lane-change monitor, rear camera, 19-inch alloys and a few other knick-knacks. The CX-5 comes equipped with optional safety tech such as ABS, stability control and front as well as side airbags as standard. Lane-change warning and rear monitoring with camera are available only on the top model.
